The idea

Why not just buy the two dollar pack?

You can. You will also buy it again next month, and leave a few hairs in it every time it snags. Silk is a different material doing a different job.

Will it hold thick hair?

Yes. The band is wide and it stretches without losing its shape, so it grips a thick ponytail in two turns instead of four.

Does a scalp brush make hair grow faster?

We are not going to tell you that. What it does is clean the scalp properly, lift flakes and product build up, and feel wonderful while it does it. A calm, clean scalp is a better place for hair to grow. That is the honest version.

Does the headband slide off?

It sits wide across the hairline and grips with the same silk surface, so it stays put through a full routine, and it does not soak up what you just applied.

How do I wash them?

Cool water, gentle soap, laid flat to dry. Never the dryer. They last years that way.
